Privacy

A small, respectful footprint.

Gumu-Gumu uses an opaque visitor cookie to remember anonymous likes and help protect comment submissions. The raw cookie value is not stored in the application database; likes and comments use a keyed hash instead.

Comments are anonymous to other visitors, reviewed before publication, and stored as untrusted text. We do not require an email address to comment. Operational logs may retain short-lived information needed to prevent abuse and keep the service reliable.

For questions about a published comment or privacy request, use the contact channel associated with the Gumu-Gumu publication.
